About Us
Bill and Terry Dishman:
Bill Dishman has been in the taxidermy
business for over 25 years. Starting out as a commercial
taxidermist, Bill opened Second Nature taxidermy on the
Blackfoot river just east of Missoula, MT.
In 1993 Bill started Second Nature School of
Taxidermy, which has become the number one taxidermy school
in the country.
In 2019, Bill and his wife Terry
decided to retire from teaching so Bill could pursue his
passion for painting fish replicas. “As a fish artist, I see
a fish blank as the perfect 3D canvas to express my creative
skills and my love for fishing.”
"Our goal isn’t to run a fast moving assembly line
of fish replicas, but to produce fewer fish, with the
emphasis on quality.”
